DIRECTIONS:From the Tampa International Airport terminal exit take the SR-616/Spruce Street ramp. Merge onto West Spruce Street. West Spruce Street becomes West Boy Scout Blvd. West Boy Scout Blvd becomes West Columbus Dr. Turn left onto North Dale Mabry Hwy/US-92. Turn right onto West Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd/SR-574. Turn left onto North Himes Avenue. St. Lawrence Catholic Church (5225 No Himes Avenue) is on the right. From Interstate 4 merge onto I-275 S via the exit on the left toward Tampa International Airport/St Petersburg. Take the Himes Avenue exit. Turn right onto Himes Avenue, heading north. St. Lawrence Catholic Church (5225 N. Himes Avenue) is on the right.
NEW PARISHIONERS:We warmly welcome all new parishioners to St. Lawrence. Please register with the Parish by completing a Census Registration form available in the church, from the ushers, or at the reception desk in the Parish office. SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM:Presenting a child to receive the Sacrament of Baptism is a serious obligation on the part of the parents and requires a Faith commitment by being practicing Catholics. Parents are to contact the Parish Office before attending the required instruction class. Further information will be given to you at that time. SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE:Call the Parish Office at least six (6) months in advance of the anticipated wedding. All couples must participate in the preparation program mandated by the Diocese. After the assessment process has been completed a wedding date may be scheduled.
FIRST FRIDAY DEVOTIONS:ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration following the 8:30 AM daily Mass on Thursdays as part of our regular Exposition and Adoration schedule. Thus, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed also for First Fridays. Adoration is held in the Christ Child Chapel, north of Higgins Hall and behind the Polly Murray Early Childhood Center. SACRAMENT OF THE SICK AND SHUT-INS:St. Lawrence celebrates an Anointing of the Sick Mass every fourth Saturday of the month at the 5:30 PM Mass. We encourage all those who would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick to attend this Mass. At any other time, please call the parish office for this sacrament.
